Delivery Details

At Rookcrest Livestock, we take care when preparing birds and eggs for delivery. Every order is handled with the condition of the birds, the destination, and the type of shipment in mind.

Whether you are ordering chicks, adult birds, hatching eggs, or another rare bird, we will provide the available delivery information before your order is finalized.

Live Bird Delivery

Live birds require different handling from ordinary parcels. We prepare each shipment according to the bird's age, size, breed, weather conditions, and destination.

Before dispatch, we confirm the order details with the customer, including:

• Bird type and quantity

• Shipping address

• Customer name and contact number

• Preferred delivery details

• Any information needed for the shipment

We recommend that customers remain available to receive their birds when the shipment is scheduled to arrive.

Chick Delivery

Young chicks require special care during transportation. We prepare chick orders with suitable packaging and handling based on the number and age of the birds.

Delivery time can vary depending on the destination and shipping service available for the order.

If you are ordering chicks, contact us before placing your order so we can confirm availability and delivery arrangements.

Hatching Egg Delivery

Hatching eggs require careful packing because they are fragile and sensitive to handling.

Egg orders are securely prepared for transportation. However, shipping conditions are outside the farm's control once a package has been handed to the carrier.

For the best chance of successful hatching, customers should allow the eggs to rest according to the care instructions provided before incubation.

Adult Bird Delivery

Adult birds may require different transportation arrangements depending on their size, breed, quantity, and destination.

Before an adult bird order is dispatched, we confirm the available delivery method with the customer.

Some breeds may also require additional documentation or specific transportation arrangements depending on the destination.

Delivery Areas

Rookcrest Livestock serves customers based on the delivery options available for each order.

Shipping availability can depend on:

• Destination

• Bird species

• Age and size of the birds

• Quantity ordered

• Weather conditions

• Carrier availability

• Applicable regulations

Contact us before ordering if you are unsure whether we can deliver to your location.

Delivery Updates

Once your order has been prepared for dispatch, we provide the available delivery information to the customer.

Please make sure your contact information is correct when placing an order. An incorrect phone number, email address, or delivery address can cause unnecessary delays.

Weather and Safe Delivery

Weather can affect live-bird and hatching-egg shipments.

If conditions are unsuitable for safe transportation, we may recommend adjusting the shipping date when possible. This helps reduce unnecessary risk during extreme weather.

Receiving Your Order

When your order arrives, check the shipment as soon as possible.

For live birds:

• Move the birds to a suitable prepared area.

• Provide clean water.

• Provide appropriate feed.

• Give the birds time to settle after transportation.

• Follow any care instructions provided with your order.

For hatching eggs:

• Handle them carefully.

• Allow them to rest before incubation according to the instructions provided.

• Inspect the eggs for visible damage.

If you have a question about your delivery, contact Rookcrest Livestock as soon as possible with your order details.

Before You Order

Because live birds and hatching eggs require special handling, we encourage customers to contact us before placing an order if they have questions about availability, delivery, breed, quantity, or destination.

Our goal is to make the ordering and delivery process clear from the beginning.
