A Farm Built Around

Rare and Remarkable Birds

Some birds stand out the moment you see them.

Others become interesting when you learn where they come from, how they develop, and what makes their breed different.

That is what makes rare poultry worth knowing.

At Rookcrest Livestock, we focus on birds that give poultry keepers something distinctive to work with. Our flock includes species and breeds that are not commonly found in ordinary poultry collections.

From the patterned appearance of the Ocellated Turkey to the unusual form of the Dong Tao chicken, each bird brings its own identity to the farm.

We believe choosing a bird should be about more than seeing a photograph and placing an order. You should know what you are looking at, understand what is available, and have a clear way to ask questions before moving forward.

Other Birds and Turkeys

Our collection extends beyond a single breed.

Availability can change as birds develop and as different poultry become ready to be offered.

You may find other turkey varieties, rare poultry, specialty chickens, and other birds that fit the needs of collectors, breeders, and poultry keepers.

From Chicks and Eggs to Mature Birds

A poultry collection can begin in many different ways.

For some people, it starts with an egg.

For others, it starts with a few chicks and the opportunity to watch them develop.

Some poultry keepers are looking for mature birds that can become part of an established flock.

Rookcrest Livestock offers different life stages where available, giving you the opportunity to explore the option that best fits your plans.

Our available birds may include:

Chicks
